These 100% genuine oak barrel lids were used in the process to carefully age bourbon. It’s during the process that they achieve the look and character that we seek. We remove the char that’s used to flavor the spirits and then sand them just enough to retain the character they’ve earned over time. The engraving is produced by laser as the image is burned across the lid’s face and a wire is installed on the back for hanging.

Each lid will bear the Officially Licensed Collegiate Products (OLCP) hologram tag. The indicia featured on these products are protected trademarks owned by West Virginia University. Bear Wood Company is an officially licensed manufacturer.
