At Bear Wood Company, every dining table has a story to tell. We craft each piece from 100% reclaimed wood—oak, cherry, maple, walnut, or whatever beautiful material we’ve recently salvaged. Our wood often comes from old barns, homes, or buildings, and we make it our mission to preserve that rich history in every table we build.
Our tables are designed to stand the test of time. We build them to allow for natural seasonal wood movement and offer custom details like breadboard ends, bow ties, and epoxy inlays. The legs and aprons feature time-tested mortise and tenon joinery—a hallmark of craftsmanship that ensures your table will last for generations.

Live Edge Desks
Our live edge desks are made from “urban reclaimed” wood—fallen trees that would otherwise go to waste. We partner with local sawmills to source and kiln-dry large slabs that we transform into functional, one-of-a-kind pieces. Paired with motorized, height-adjustable metal bases, these desks bring natural beauty and modern flexibility into your workspace.
Antique Door Desks
We salvage old doors from buildings slated for demolition and give them a second life. After restoring the wood and topping it with glass for a smooth surface, we craft the base from reclaimed wood using pinned mortise and tenon joinery. These desks combine antique charm with solid, lasting construction—and can even double as unique dining tables in smaller spaces.
